Loop is designed to be quick and simple. Download the app, find a nearby venue, rent a power bank, and return it anywhere in the Loop network when you are done.
Step 1
Download the Loop app
Get the app free from the App Store or Google Play. Available on iPhone and Android.
Step 2
Find a nearby Loop station
The app shows Loop stations near you across Cardiff. Walk into any participating venue.
Step 3
Scan the QR code
Open the app and scan the QR code on the station to start your rental.
Step 4
Take a power bank
The station releases a fully charged power bank. It includes USB-C and Lightning connectors.
Step 5
Charge on the move
Take it with you. Use it as long as you need — rental is capped at £5 per day.
Step 6
Return it to any Loop venue
Slide the power bank into an open dock at any Loop station. Rental ends the moment it locks and your deposit comes back automatically.
What to expect
- A £25 refundable deposit is held when you rent. Your rental fee is deducted and the rest is returned when you return the power bank on time.
- Pricing is capped at £5 per day and £10 for 48 hours — you will never pay more.
- Return to any Loop station — not just the one you rented from.
- All power banks include built-in USB-C and Lightning cables.
- If the power bank is not returned within 48 hours, the £25 deposit is retained. No additional fee is applied.
- Support is available daily from 06:00–23:00 at support@looppower.co.uk.
